Alimentation Couche-Tard (ACT) is a global leader in convenience and mobility, operating over 17,200 sites across 29 countries. For the company's 2026 Business Strategy Update, ACT introduced "Core + More"—a multi-year strategic framework that harnesses the company's scale, network, and people to drive traffic and profitable growth. The strategy balances the optimization of core platforms with targeted investment opportunities designed to deliver long-term value.
Capsule was engaged to design the 95-slide flagship presentation, distilling the new strategy and complex financial modelling into a cohesive narrative for the global analyst community. The presentation served as the primary vehicle for the executive team to articulate their 'Recipe for Profitable Growth' during Investor Day.
CN sets the standard for leadership in sustainability reporting. Their suite of disclosures—ranging from biennial Sustainability Report to annual CDP responses and Data Supplements—is anchored in transparency, resilience, and long-term value. For over a decade, Capsule has partnered with CN to enhance and evolve this reporting suite, ensuring that best-practice disclosures are paired with an engaging, accessible stakeholder experience.
In 2025, CN was awarded IR Magazine’s Best ESG Reporting (Large Cap), a testament to how effectively the company communicates its management of sustainability risks and opportunities. This work goes beyond mere compliance, providing the substance, detail, and performance data that investors demand.

The challenge was to visually anchor the strategic shift. We developed a sophisticated visual hierarchy to differentiate between the two halves of the growth engine: Amplify the Core (Fuel, Nicotine, and Thirst) and Invest in More (Food, Private Brands, Network, and e-Mobility). This narrative was supported by a dedicated focus on the Enablers—the technology, data, and supply chain capabilities that ground the strategy in operational reality.

We developed a high-impact visual framework to show how ACT continues to "Beat the Market" in its foundational categories. By utilizing clean, comparative data structures, we highlighted competitive advantages across three key areas:
> Fuel: Visualizing global procurement scale and the "Circle K" brand advantage.
> Nicotine: Strategic mapping of the transition to Other Nicotine Products (ONP) and back-bar leadership.
> Thirst: Showcasing ACT’s positioning to capture the growing "Thirst" market across all consumption occasions.

To unlock the next era of growth, ACT is leveraging its extensive footprint to move beyond the traditional convenience model. We designed a visual journey for the "More" categories, ensuring that the shift from a convenience stop to a full-service mobility destination was clear, credible, and compelling for the investor audience. Key design features include:
> 4 Growth Pillars of Food: We developed a dedicated visual framework that highlights the operational execution and supply chain innovation expected to drive food revenue growth at 4x the rate of merchandise revenue.
> Private Brand Evolution: Using visual flowcharts and co-branded case studies, we demonstrated how private labels are being elevated to drive higher margins and deeper customer loyalty.
> Network & e-Mobility Leadership: We used compelling charts and quantitative proof points to illustrate ACT’s leadership position in European EV infrastructure, anchoring their 2030 ambitions in real-world performance.
> Defining Success: We designed a "What Success Looks Like" wrap-up for each pillar, creating a clear visual scorecard that translated abstract goals into measurable operational wins.

Strategy is only as effective as the systems that power it. Prefaced by a high-impact video introduction, we created a cohesive visual identity for the "Enablers" section, illustrating how ACT’s digital and physical assets work in tandem. Key design features include:
> A Unified Ecosystem: We visualized the underlying capabilities—digital engagement, data platforms, and supply chain—as the connective tissue that supports every one of ACT’s 17,200+ sites.
> Full Circle Media: We leveraged system diagrams to showcase the $100M+ Retail Media opportunity, helping investors understand how ACT is monetizing its global footprint through data-driven engagement.
> Technological Foundations: Using clean, architectural graphics, we demonstrated how ACT’s scale creates a low-cost, sustainable model advantage.

The presentation concluded with a definitive roadmap for long-term value creation. By balancing rigorous financial modelling with elevated design, we helped the executive team articulate a "Recipe for Profitable Growth" that was both technically accurate and visually undeniable. Key design features include:
> The Growth Algorithm: We transformed technical financial outlooks into intuitive visualizations, mapping the specific path to achieving >10% Adjusted Diluted EPS growth and 6-8% Adjusted EBITDA CAGR through fiscal 2030.
Quantitative Proof Points: To move beyond high-level strategy, we integrated data visualizations that provide quantitative context for achieving future targets.
